Building a food system that is just, sustainable and independent of animal exploitation involves resisting and dismantling the power of the agroindustrial complex, and creating a shift in social norms where non-human animals are no longer thought of as food.
Our approach is multi-pronged with a particular emphasis on community education and outreach. Through our events and classes, we inspire and empower community members to take effective action to change the world around them, be it through becoming a veganic gardener, organizing on local or global issues, or becoming a voice for change.
Key focus areas include:
- Anti-imperialism, decolonization and political education
- Food sovereignty
- Regenerative farming and non-pastoral agroecology
- Veganic farming movement incubation
- Dietary policy advocacy
- Strategies for animal liberation
