Topic: From Activism to Consumerism: How Big Food co-opts and placates social movements

We’ll draw on examples from vegan, organic, and anti-GMO movements to discuss the various ways the food industry co-opts and otherwise weakens social movements. 

Sunday Brunches are held at The Secret Garden every first Sunday of summer months.

A donation of $12 is suggested, nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
