Join us for a field trip to Lazy Millennial Farms in Salinas! Veganic farmers Matt and Brittany Loisel will give us a tour and speak about veganic and organic agriculture.

The first stop will be at 11:30AM at Vegetarian House in San Jose for an early lunch, after which we will drive to Salinas for the farm visit.

Learn about how your food is grown and what a sustainable food system can look like! Matt and Brittany started their farm after going through an organic agriculture incubator program; they can speak to relocalizing our food systems, getting starting in agriculture and how consumers can help.

They’ll cover the differences between organic and conventional, the particularities of veganic (vegan + organic) farming, and their experience with veganic farming as an effort towards sustainability.
