Join Seed the Commons for our first gardening workshop!

Gardening in the spaces that are available to us, be it a small plot in a community garden, a rooftop, a balcony or a front yard, is an important step in improving access to healthy foods, beautifying and nurturing our environments, and building community resiliency. Seed the Commons is delighted to support our community by offering gardening workshops three times a year.

We are honored to welcome Salinas farmer Matthew S. Loisel to help us grow our own food sustainably. If you would like to garden without synthetic or animal fertilizers, this workshop is for you. This first workshop is mostly for a beginner to intermediate level. Questions about your existent projects are welcome.

Spanish interpretation will be available.
A $12 donation is welcome; nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
