Criticism of GMOs is often portrayed as being based on food safety concerns, with critics labeled as anti-science. But what are some of the actual concerns voiced by farmers and academics? We’ll discuss the current place of GMOs in our food system, the connection to animal agriculture, and some of the social, economic and environmental impacts of GMO cultivation.

Held at The Secret Garden, 2710a Harrison Street, between 23rd and 24th St. every first Sunday of the month. A donation of $10 is suggested but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
