Join the Veganic For Climate contingent on Sep. 8 as we march alongside thousands of people for the largest climate march in history: RISE for Climate, Jobs & Justice!

As global warming threatens us, the good news is that we have practical solutions to reduce our carbon emissions and slow the pace of global warming for future generations. According to conservative estimates, animal agriculture is responsible for 14.5% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and industrial agriculture on the whole is wreaking havoc on the planet. Unfortunately, agriculture is mostly absent from conversations on climate change, and when it is discussed, the conversation is dominated by proponents of false solutions. It is urgent that we put agriculture on the table, that we reject the false solutions of tech fixes and animal-based farming alike, and that rebuild our food system based on agroecological plant-based farming.

The march will take place prior to the Global Climate Action Summit, September 12th to 14th 2018, which will be attended by thousands of people including elected leaders, United Nations officials, climate negotiators and business and non-profit leaders.
