Veganic Transformations
Growing food at home has many benefits: healthy produce, beautifying one’s environment, providing habitat for endangered pollinators and creating a small space for biodiversity to flourish, withdrawing our dollars from the corporate food complex… to name a few!
The Working Group on Veganic Farming is excited to announce that we will start helping Bay Area folks to grow clean, beautiful food at their homes, without synthetic or animal inputs. Whether you have a lawn you’d like to flip or would like to add some potted plants to your apartment, we’d love to help you out.
A couple weekends a month, we will help people in the Bay Area kickstart home gardens and provide them with the information necessary to go from there. We will do this as volunteers but ask that people cover the costs of materials. At the moment we can go to English, Spanish, French and Portuguese-speaking homes, and we hope to add more languages soon. Transformaciones vegánicas
Cultivar alimentos en su propio hogar tiene muchas beneficios. Para nombrar algunos, tenemos: frutas y verduras sanas del jardín, embellecimiento del ambiente doméstico, creación de hábitat para polinizadores en peligro de extinción, creación de un pequeño espacio donde puede florecer la diversidad biológica y retirar nuestro dinero del sistema alimentario industrial.
El Grupo de Trabajo del Cultivo Vegánico esta muy feliz de anunciar que comenzaremos a apoyar a la gente del Área de la Bahía a cultivar sus propios alimentos sanos en su hogar y sin aportaciones sintéticas ni de origen animal. Si usted tiene un césped que le gustaría transformar en un jardín o si usted tiene apartamento donde le gustaría añadir algunas plantas en macetas, nos encantaría ayudarle.
Dos fines de semana al mes, ayudaremos a los residentes del Área de la Bahía poner en marcha sus jardines caseros y les proporcionaremos la información necesaria para continuar con el mantenimiento. Ofreceremos este servicio de forma gratuita ya que actuaremos como voluntarios, pero pedimos que las personas cubran los costos de los materiales. Por el momento, podemos ir a los hogares donde se habla inglés, español, francés y portugués. Esperamos poder añadir más idiomas próximamente.
